Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio
Rene Marie Russo was an American actress, director and supermodel. Alongside her stunning elegance, her continued successes in the highly competitive world of film is testament to her abilities as an actor. Her career began as a model during the 1970s before becoming one of the top models. After completing her acting studies, Russo began her modeling career working in Los Angeles. Russo made her debut on the screen on ABCs Sable drama in 1987 as Eden Kendell. In the following year she portrayed Tom Berengers love interest in her debut movie Major League. Some critics initially doubted her acting skills However, her consistently good performance enthused them. In Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak she was especially praised by critics due to the way she performed to Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and others. Her admission to acting isn't her passion. In 2005, she went on a break that was forced by herself. After that, she staged a comeback in Thor. The film also featured her in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler which was produced by her husband. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were humorous comedies where she was the lead.
Rose Namajunas is one of the top female athletes in the UFC. Her professional journey began as an amateur athlete, performing various regional competitions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining UFC in 2011, UFC in 2011 she was known as a household name due to the success that she had achieved inside and outside of Octagon. Namajunas is a Lithuanian born American, who was born June 29th 1993 at Milwaukee Wisconsin. While growing up, Rose was involved in sports such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her when she was 18 years old and she went on to win 2 fights via submission. Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was admitted to the UFC's strawweight class in December 2014 when Rose was only 22. Rose has had extremes and lows throughout her career. However, she's always come out the winner. Rose fought Carla Esparza in April 2015 for the Women's Strawweight Championship. She won the fight through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes in the initial round. It was the first female to fight to win a title in any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas won a number of bouts following this victory, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. It resulted in Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
