Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer were the parents of Helfer who was born. Helfer is of German, English and Swedish descendance. She was a student at William E. Hay Composite High School in Stettler, Alberta. The three sisters she lives with were raised on their family's farm of wheat. In theater line the scout of a modeling agency noticed Helfer.
