Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is an Canadian actress best known for her portrayal of Deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy series Eureka. Cerra was raised by Italian parents in Vancouver British Columbia. When she was eight years old she was enthralled by acting and appeared on numerous commercials on television. In the following years, she took a hiatus from performing. In 2001, at age 22, she returned. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine voted her as one of the city's most popular young actresses. Cerra was a part of the show as deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka. The Syfy show aired by Syfy between the years 2006-2012. Cerra also appeared in the 2006 music video for"Save the Last Dance for Me," a Michael Buble hit song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra was a prominent character in numerous well-known and highly respected TV shows like Battlestar Galactica. Film credits include Blade:Trinity, starring Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck in the lead role, as well as Man About Town. Cerras body and head were used as a model for Ashley Williams' character in Mass Effect. Cerra also appeared as a guest star for her character in Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff as well as Dead Like Me. Khondabi said that she married Joey Scribner Howard, her sweetheart from high school who has a degree in mechanical engineering within the energy utilities industry. Khondabi and Joey were friends from the time they first met at Greenwood Christian School. The two began dating during their senior years of high-school. Howard attended Irmo where he graduated Dutch Fork High School. Howard as well as Khondabi were friends for many years before they began dating. Khondabi was a 2007 graduate from Emerald High School and a 2011 graduate from the University of South Carolina with the degree of broadcast journalist. She minored in management of entertainment and sports. Joey has graduated from USC also. Liam, their pet dog is the sole pet of their family. Khondabi said she believes that Joey and she are both foodies. One of her favorite dishes at home is onion rings that are served by Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi wrote: I am someone who is always curious. As an elementary student I did educational interview which were broadcast on the news show at the school. I was also responsible for the daily news headlines of our school. The Oakland Elementary news program was called WOAK. Khondabi says that following college her first work experience as a news reporter the television channel was WAGT Augusta Georgia. Khondabi said that she worked as a reporter in Augusta Georgia for approximately six years. After Augusta, I spent time as an anchor for WOWK on Charleston West Virginia and then Columbus Ohio.
